It was alleged that, their parents have threatened to kill both of them in suitable occasion. Therefore they approached the Punjab and Haryana High Court seeking Police Protection.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Court%E2%80%99s_finding\"><\/span><strong>Court\u2019s finding<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>Court noticed that the boy was not of marriageable age.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Court%E2%80%99s_observation\"><\/span><strong>Court\u2019s observation<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p>It was observed that, merely because the boy hasn\u2019t crossed\nthe marriageable age, it can\u2019t be inferred that couple will be deprived of\ntheir fundamental rights as has been envisaged in the Constitution of India.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Essential condition under \u2018The Hindu Marriage Act, 1955) is\nthat, bridegroom shall complete the age of 21 years and bride shall complete\nthe age of 18 years.
