{"id":4139,"date":"2020-08-03T15:26:31","date_gmt":"2020-08-03T15:26:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/?p=4139"},"modified":"2021-01-17T05:41:10","modified_gmt":"2021-01-17T05:41:10","slug":"regulation-of-and-liability-for-robotics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/regulation-of-and-liability-for-robotics\/","title":{"rendered":"University of York England: E-Workshop, \u201cRegulation of and Liability for Robotics\u201d [15th-16th December 2020]"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-justify has-very-dark-gray-color\">The University of York will be hosting a workshop on the 15-16th&nbsp;December on the broad theme of regulation of and liability for robotics.&nbsp; This workshop is part of a project funded by an EU Horizon 2020 grant which aims to explore best practices and to provide services to facilitate the uptake of robotic inspection and maintenance technologies that are being deployed across sectors including transport, oil, water management, and nuclear.&nbsp; Professor Roger Brownsword of King&#8217;s College London and Bournemouth University will be the keynote speaker at the workshop.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-text-align-justify has-very-dark-gray-color\">We welcome papers connected with the broad theme of the regulation of robots, or on liability issues concerning robotic technologies.
