Bombay HC denied any relief to the Actor against the alleged illegal construction at his residential place. His residential place is in Juhu area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Bombay HC while denying the relief quoted &#8211;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote\"><p>Law helps only those who are diligent<\/p><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Background<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/portal.mcgm.gov.in\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation<\/a> (<a href=\"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/putting-up-hoardings-on-land-which-does-not-belong-to-the-municipal-corporation-is-not-banned\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">BMC<\/a>) in October 2020 i<a href=\"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/notice-issued-on-plea-for-action-against-media-for-revealing-identity-of-rape-victim-in-hyderabad-rape-case\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">ssued a notice.<\/a> Petitioner Sonu Sood sought 10 weeks to comply with the same before the High Court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Moreover, he also sought High Court direction to the BMC to not to demolish the property. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, the Hon&#8217;ble High Court <a href=\"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/discharge-application-can-be-rejected-if-the-court-establish-a-prima-facie-case-against-the-accused-allahabad-hc\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">rejected<\/a> the plea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>BMC suggests that the actor has converted his property from residential one to a hotel property without any permission.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the same, BMC filed FIR against the actor in Juhu Police Station.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>However, Police is yet to file the FIR.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sonu Sood went to Supreme Court against the decision of the Bombay HC.
