An FIR was registered by the victim\u2019s mother against the husband and his family on allegations of dowry and their statements were recorded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
During the course of the criminal proceedings, it was brought to the court\u2019s attention that the father of the deceased has accepted the amount of Rs. 2 lakhs in exchange for exonerating the accused.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The court opined that as a result of a compromise between parties, the court cannot be made a party to the compromise.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
