{"id":9124,"date":"2021-04-13T07:23:08","date_gmt":"2021-04-13T07:23:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/?p=9124"},"modified":"2021-04-13T07:24:02","modified_gmt":"2021-04-13T07:24:02","slug":"prince-harry-sued-by-an-indian-advocate-for-not-marrying-her","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/prince-harry-sued-by-an-indian-advocate-for-not-marrying-her\/","title":{"rendered":"Prince Harry sued by an Indian Advocate for not marrying her"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Here Petitioner Ms Palwinder Kaur filed a Petition against Prince Harry to seek legal action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Petitioner sought to direct the United Kingdom Police Cell to take action against him, as, despite a promise to marry the petitioner, the said promise has not been fulfilled.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">It is also prayed that arrest warrants be issued against him so that no further delay occur in their marriage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote td_quote_box td_box_center\"><p><strong>I find that this petition is nothing, but just a daydreamer\u2019s fantasy about marrying Prince Harry.<\/strong><\/p><cite>Punjab and Haryana High Court<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">Though the Court today was held through virtual hearing; however, on a request made by the petitioner in person, this case has been specially taken up in the Court in the actual hearing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">After hearing the petitioner in person Court held; <strong>I find that this petition is nothing, but just a daydreamer\u2019s fantasy about marrying Prince Harry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">The court observed that petition, which has been very poorly drafted, both grammatically and lacking the knowledge of pleadings; speaks about some emails between the petitioner and Prince Harry, in which the person, sending the email, has stated that he promise to marry soon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-align-justify\">On a Court query, whether the petitioner has ever travelled to the United Kingdom, the reply was negative. The petitioner only stated that she had a conversation through <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/plea-against-social-media\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">social media<\/a><\/em><\/strong>; where she has even sent messages to Prince Charles that his son Prince Harry is engaged with her.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote td_quote_box td_box_center\"><p>There is every possibility that so-called Prince Harry may be sitting in a Cyber Cafe of a village in Punjab; looking for greener pastures for himself<\/p><cite>Punjab and Haryana High Court<\/cite><\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Court held that It is well-known fact that fake IDs are created on various <strong><em><a href=\"https:\/\/lexforti.com\/legal-news\/ott-rules-regulation-content\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">social media sites<\/a><\/em><\/strong>. The authenticity of such conversation cannot be relied upon by this Court.
